I use this product every day and every night. I am never without this wonderful, emollient, high-quality Baume de Rose. It's actually more than a balm as it imparts a beautiful, subtle rose-color gloss to the lips that looks wonderful all on its own. This product is not sticky at all and it lasts a long time. I put it on every night before sleep and it's still with me when I wake. The scent is divine but there's no sickly taste to it .. there is not taste at all. It's also wonderful with lipstick on top. I used Kiehl's lip balm for many years but I like this one more for the reasons stated. It's expensive but lasts and lasts and lasts.

By Terry Baume de Rose lip balm is expensive but among all the lip balms I've used in the past NOTHING comes close to this! Yes the price tag is steep but to me, it is worth every penny because of the fact that it works beautifully!
I use it daily and especially in the winter because it gets cold and windy here. My lips are prone to getting very chapped and they bleed easy but not with this, it protects them! I also use it at night before going to bed and my lips are soft in the morning. I LOVE the way it smells of roses but not too overwhelming and there is a subtle sheen to this lip balm which I find works great for me especially if I don't want to wear too much make up but still look like I tried...
I have to add that despite the fact that it is small, even with daily use, this lip balm has lasted a little over a year. So this is a lip balm I'll keep purchasing because who can say they've had the same lip balm for a year without switching to something else in frustration? I cannot recommend this enough, forget all the other lip balms out there, this is THE one for me!

I use this first thing when I wake up and last thing before I go to bed. It feels great and smell wonderful. It's expensive, but you just use a tiny dot. The first jar I bought lasted me a year!

I wanted to believe the reviews about this product and was hoping it would heal my seriously dry lips but found it to be an absolute disappointment. It's thick and waxy, sticky, has a tendency to leave white residue on the lips... not at all healing in any way and I have major buyers remorse. Unfortunately it can't be returned once opened,(found this out too late) so I'm now stuck with an expensive cuticle cream-here's hoping it actually moisturizes the nails. Save your money ladies (and gentlemen) and buy Jack Black for a fraction of the price..a product that actually works

This product lives up to the expectations that come along with a $59 lip balm. It has a lovely rich consistency that feels smooth and not at all sticky on the lips. It feels soothing and hydrating. It gives a very sheer/faint hint of pink. It can be worn alone for a natural look or as a great base for lipstick. Also works well as an overnight treatment. The smell is amazing if you like tradtional rose smell - if you're looking for something hip or fresh smelling this isn't it, it's classic rose. I waited a long time to pull the trigger because of price, and am pleasantly surprised that I think it's actually worth it! But I minus one star for being so extravagently priced, it's crazy.

Never been big on writing reviews, BUT THIS STUFF IS AMAZING !!

I think I usually try something and then get ho hum with it. Not this time! I find I am carrying this little jar around the house with me .. in the car and on my desk at work .. where I go .. it goes! Incredible little luxurious personal fix. I am putting it on my nails and swear they are stronger and look better. I have just started putting whatever is left on my fingers on the the tips of my hair. I have long hair and I figure if its good for my nails it should help the driest ends of my hair. I am a true believer and will start eyeballing her other products. Yep, no doubt its not cheap, but its incredible! Bottom line? ... if you and I were standing in the department store together, and you were saying OMG, its so expensive! I would grab your shoulders, shake my head, smile and say " just shut up and buy it! "

I use this daily...mainly in the evenings. I love how my lips feel in the monring when I wake up. The aroma of this is amazing - not overpowering at all but soft and subtle like gentle roses. I spot check my lips during the day and if they feel dry or chapped on it goes. It's pricy but you will love it. It lasts a long time as well. Indulge yourself in this and your lips will love you!

Yes, it's pricey, but it's so worth it. I apply during the day if Im home and not wearing lipstick and always before bed. When you wake up - your lips will love you! It's truly amazing! and smells like a rose garden....not too overpowering but just gentle enough to be calming. It's one of my top ten favs now and forever!

This is nice, and smells extra nice, but other than that, it is nothing special. I noted no difference in my lips in the morning after using this for three + weeks. It is soothing going on and as I said smells nice, but I really don't think it is worth the price. I'm tempted to use the rest of it as a facial balm, now that might really be nice.
