When this lipgloss arrived it looked crazy purple and glittery in the tube. But I thought, maybe its one of those products that looks better on. Surely it couldn't maintain the opaque purple and thick glitter content it had inside the tube. But when I applied a sheer layer to my lips I knew I was wrong. This is unwearable, except maybe for a rave.

This smells OK, tastes OK and is packaged nicely. The nice comments end there. The colour really needs to be more sheer, it is too opaque for that dull purple colour. The worst thing about this gloss though is the glitter. I am pretty tolerant to the grit of some smaller glitters, but this felt and looked awful. Those two things made this gloss unwearable. I ended up throwing it away.
Shame that Butter chose this as their initial lip gloss. Skip it.

I wanted to love this product, as I love the coordinating nail polish, but the prominent glitter in this gloss is too chunky for everyday use. Would be perfect for a club look or would work well with a costume.
