Comments about butter LONDON 3 Free Nail Lacquer, Rosie Lee, .3 fl oz:

This is really a clear polish with large rose-colored glitter. I like polishes with sparkle, but this one is too chunky, and my nails were rough in texture when I used it. 2-3 coats would be necessary for the color to even show up. I like Lippman's Diamonds and Pearls or Bring on the Bling much better for sparkly nails, they go on much smoother.

Comments about butter LONDON 3 Free Nail Lacquer, Rosie Lee, .3 fl oz:

butter LONDON's Rosie Lee is rose-gold glitter suspended in clear polish. This sparkling color is quite festive, but I think it would be appropriate for all ages (though maybe not ideal for uber conservative work places). It complements my very fair, cool, pink skin. Because there is no pigment (aside from the glitter), you can skip a base coat, but resist the urge to apply thickly or you'll end up with glitter buildup around the cuticle. Instead, go for 2-4 thin coats. During application, the glitter goes down a bit unevenly, so you'll need a minimum of 2 coats. I used 3 coats to get the same look as what I see in the bottle. It dries quickly, and applying additional coats does not appear to significantly soften the previous layer.

After the third coat, my nails felt oddly thick and rough, a bit chunky. You'd think the texture would make it prone to chipping, but I did not find that to be true; in fact, it is *very* difficult to remove. (I did not use a top coat.) One cool thing about this polish (and it's rough finish) is if you mess it up while it's wet, just put a small drop into the smear or ding, and no one will ever know--not even you!

This is such a unique look, perfect for this holiday season. In fact, I have just given myself a manicure for Thanksgiving dinner today, and this will look lovely on my toes on Christmas morning. I will definitely buy this again because when I look at my nails, I feel happy. Not many polishes get that kind of a response from me.

Comments about butter LONDON 3 Free Nail Lacquer, Rosie Lee, .3 fl oz:

My toes look fabulous - sparkly but rich at the same time. Some sparkles look cheap - this doesn't. I am not sure if this is going to last though. It took a long time to dry - my pedicurist was concerned about me leaving before it was way dry - much longer than usual. And it is starting to show wear on the edges after a week. That said, the color is so awesome I would buy it again!

Comments about butter LONDON 3 Free Nail Lacquer, Rosie Lee, .3 fl oz:

I love this color. It took two-three coats to be 100% pink sparkles but it was just beautiful. I honestly couldn't stop staring at my nails. Only negative is that when it chipped just a little bit, it was all too easy to just rip the whole nail off. And at [$]/bottle....it feels like each time I paint my nails costs 75 cents. overall love it!
