Romy Soleimani, our Beauty Director-at-Large, began by prepping the skin with Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Foundation to even skin tone and diminish dark circles. Next she patted Prescriptives Flawless Skin Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 25 under the eyes and around the nose and lips.
Romy traced a tight, fine line around the eyes with Prescriptives Softlining Pencil in Jet. Then she laid a sheer, watercolor wash of color onto the eyelids with The Loose Shimmer Shadow in Topaz by Kevyn Aucoin. When using a loose eyeshadow like this, put some shadow onto the back of your hand and use your finger or a shadow brush like the Paula Dorf Eye Shadow Brush to deposit color onto your lids.

Next, apply a coat of The Lip Gloss in Beaugonia and Absinthia by Kevyn Aucoin onto eyelids for an unexpected glossy shine and finish the eyes with a swipe of Dr. Hauschka Skin Care Mascara Lash Color. Finally, apply The Lip Gloss in Absinthia by Kevyn Aucoin to your lips for opalescent, champagne color.
For a modern tone-on-tone nail, paint a base coat in a taupe shade like Deborah Lippmann Nail Color in Fashion, butter LONDON 3 Free Nail Lacquer in Crumpet or NARS Nail Polish in Bad Influence. Next, use the polish brush, a toothpick, or a fine-tip brush like the bareMinerals Eyeliner Brush to paint a smattering of dots in the same shade. Editorial and celebrity hairstylist Esther Langham enhanced the model's natural curls and added texture with products from Ouidad. She styled the hair, pulled it back and fastened it with bobby pins. The textured curls work with the pins to hold the style in place.
