Comments about Borghese Cura-C Anhydrous Vitamin C Treatment, 1.7 fl oz:
This is a winter must-have for me. I love that it completely calms my skin over night to the point there is absolutely no redness or discoloration anywhere. I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned the use of some "petroleum" in this product. Although it sounds counter-intuitive, another example of a petroleum based product is Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream which was actually used in burn units.
If you have skin which is easily disturbed over ANYTHING, this is the best calmer-downer on the market. I have very sensitive skin so I know! And it doesn't cause break-outs either. I am blessed at sixty to have normal skin and so this is a perfect light moisturizer which has healing properties galore! Absolutely the best!
Pros
- Easy To Use
- Evens Out Skin Tone
Cons
- Bad Smell
- Dries Out Skin

Comments about Borghese Cura-C Anhydrous Vitamin C Treatment, 1.7 fl oz:
This is a strange cream.....it looks thick in the jar but goes on smoothly. I feel like it dried out my skin that my face looked pale with this cream on. there is a certain effect with this product but I have not figured out how to work it. It didn't work for me as a night cream. I am thinking of using it as a foundation primer because of it's oil absorbing ability but, afraid that the vitamin C might make the skin sensitive under sun exposure....my use of this product will be limited. I will put it away and come back to it in the summer, hopefully I will understand it better.

Comments about Borghese Cura-C Anhydrous Vitamin C Treatment, 1.7 fl oz:
This face cream is absolutely the best....it's my treat to myself each morning! I used to be a "brand buyer" and am now a "budget buyer" but this cream has to stay. I have dry skin and most creams seem to disappear from my face a few hours after I use them. This cream is rich, silky and sinks deep into my skin for an instant pickup...then it's still there hours later. Nothing makes my face look fresher than this cream and I really, really hope Borgehese always makes it.

Comments about Borghese Cura-C Anhydrous Vitamin C Treatment, 1.7 fl oz:
Doctors are now using Petrolatum products on wounds more often now than antibiotics as I have been informed by a doctor. A gauze bandage infused with petrolatum only was used and applied to a severe staph wound on my husbands arm and it indeed helped with the healing process when used as directed. These, we were told, are being used more often as humans have developed resistance to the benefits of antibiotics for use especially in staph. (Ask your doctor) Petrolatum has been used for over 100 years in moisturizing and healing. It is no wonder it is used in addition to other Borghese ingredients as a base.

Petrolatum is used to stabilize the Vitamin C. The texture of Cura C is however completely different from Petroleum Jelly. I simply love this product.

Comments about Borghese Cura-C Anhydrous Vitamin C Treatment, 1.7 fl oz:
I use this at night under my retinol product and night cream. The texture is like a lotion until you apply it - then it's almost a silk texture. It sinks in very nicely and has a nice orange scent - but very light. I also really like Vitiman C eye cream for at night. There is a difference in the texture and overall even skin tone. I have been using for about 3 weeks now and am very happy with the results. The only issue I had with it was after doing a dermabrasion (even after waiting for several hours) there was stinging involved (like salt in a wound) - so I will not use it after dermabrasion. Borghese makes very nice products in the medium price range and the vitamin C products (body lotion is great also on the chest and hands).

Comments about Borghese Cura-C Anhydrous Vitamin C Treatment, 1.7 fl oz:
I TRIED IT WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT. I LOVE THE SMELL AND YOUR SKIN FEELS SOFT AS BABY SKIN. AT THE TIME I WAS UNABLE TO AFFORD IT ON A REGULAR BASIS. I TIRED OTHER AND WAS DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE IT DID NOT HAVE THE SAME AFFECT. THE ONLY OTHER ONE THAT DOES DELIVER THE SAME QUAILTY IS THE ONE FROM MD SKINCARE VITAMIN C. BUT IT COST $95.
