I have wavy/frizzy hair that I prefer to wear straight so I blow dry even though the heat is damaging and my highlighted hair looks healthier if I air dry. I continue to search for the perfect product to protect my hair from heat damage and add shine. This product isn't it. It's got a nice, light feel, holds great but no shine. Instead I actually think it's rather dulling. I'll use up the can but won't be back for more. Best shine seems to come from Frederic Fekkei Glossing Cream or Jose Maran Argan Hair Treatment.

The product was listed as a "no crunch body builder" and it's totally not true! It definitely crunches up. I feel like it works the same as regular mousse and it will probably work best for people with curly hair. But for someone like me with straight hair that loves doing different hairstyles with lots of volume everyday, this product was a disappointment. This is the second product I purchased by Blow and both products have been very disappointing. It doesn't compare to other well known brands like sebastian, kenra, paul mitchell, etc. I will never buy their products again. To top it off, the return policy with drugstore.com says if it's opened, you can't return it. How the heck will I know if a product is good if I don't try it.

I have naturally curly hair that I have chemically straightened. I love the straight hair, but the treatment makes me lose all of my natural volume. I have tried a lot of volumizers, even other Blow ones, but this one is the best! I think the secret is that it is a lightweight mousse instead of a liquid spray. It says to apply it once your hair is towel-dried and then wait a little longer before you blow it out. I use a large round brush and pull my hair up and away from my scalp while I dry it. I couldn't ask for better results!
