I have tried every mascara made to try and find somethgin that doesn't leave me looking like Rocky Racoon within a few hours. This is the only mascara with the technology to make this work and I love it! It goes on just like a normal mascara, but it is essentially putting a tube around each individual lash as opposed to coating it with a traditional mascara. Because of this, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to run, smudge or flake. Water and pressure are most both be present to loosen the tubes and allow them to slide off your lashes. I take mine off very easily in the shower, though I may occassionally spot an old mascara tube on the tub if I didn't get everything properly rinsed down. Too bad the the less expnsive Loreal brand that tried to use the same technology failed miserably with an awkward brush that makes for a horrible application. This is worth every penny still and a MUST for weddings, funerals and baby showers where the biggest boo-hoo'ers will still look amazing.

However, the least bit of moisture prompted the mascara tubes to slide off. Little to no friction is necessary. I live in Seattle, and we do have rather regular rain here. The first proper rainstorm of the fall had the mascara tubes coming off my lashes and onto my cheeks with just the force of the raindrops in less than six blocks. There were confused stares from fellow pedestrians. In lighter rain or if I cried while watching a movie or from hayfever I had to be careful not to even brush my eyelashes because the mascara would slide right off.
So I'd recommend this if you live in the desert, are not sentimental, and do not have allergies.. Otherwise, Clinique makes a comparable product that does not come off at the first hint of water and gives more dramatic results.

This is the only mascara that it truly waterproof. It is the only one that hasn't bothered my allergies or contact lenses. I use it after I apply my mineral foundation. The mascara is wet at first. Let dry a minute or two then apply other eye makeup. It is easy to remove when you follow the directions. Just make sure you tighten the cap when done so it doesn't dry out.

This mascara does truly tube your lashes. It pulls off in long strands when you take it off. I like that it doesn't smudge but it's not water resistant at all. After sitting in a steamy hot tub I had stringy (eyelash length) black flakes all over my face. After crying, same thing. If you don't need water resistance though, it's pretty good. The tube I had lasted a long time. It never became clumpy.

staying power is great as it clams, stay on until you take it off.
eyelash clumbs if only use blinc mascara.
I tried to use other mascara under blinc, looks a lot better.
but it just make it difficult to take it off.
eye makeup remover doesnt work so well on it, so I have to use eye makeup remover once to clean eyeshadow, use water to clean the mascara and blinc liner, and use eye makeup remover to clean whatever left on my lashs.

I have used every mascara in the past that claimed to be long-wearing such as lorac (whose long-wearing 3 day mascara has been discontinued). all others did not add much color/volume/length to my lashes but this did all three. other reviewers are correct that it does not add as much volume as traditional mascaras, but the fact that it does so much AND does not come off except when you want it to, is incredible. I work 24-30 hour shifts and it does not budge. you can tell I'm wearing mascara and I get a lot of compliments.

This mascara is great, maybe the best I've ever used in the sense that it doesn't smudge or run. But if you are looking for something that adds fullness and length this is def not that kind of mascara. It does however add "tubes" to each individual lash as it states. The first time I washed my face it looked liked all my lashes fell out in my hands, but it was just the tubes coming off the lash. I really like the mascara just wish it would add some thickness. Product is very thin and non clumping.

I have been looking for a good mascara that doesn't clump, doesn't flake, and doesn't run, and was hoping that this would be it.
Well, it doesn't do all those things, which is good, but it also doesn't make my lashes look like they have mascara on them! Not only does it not add any volume, but it has the weird effect of straightening out my normally curly eyelashes (which are fairly long already) so that they visually disappear and rub against my eyeglasses.
I didn't understand what the tube business was all about until I first tried to remove the mascara. It's the strangest thing; the mascara literally comes off in little tubes. That's almost the only way I could tell I had successfully applied it!
So no, I would not buy it again. It might be fine for someone with very light-colored eyelashes who just need some color. Finally, it is expensive. So for me, definitely not worth the price.

Love this mascara and no longer wear any others. I've tried them all from cheap to over the top expensivie. This goes on nice, dries quick, leaves your lashes looking great. The best part- it doesn't come off until you remove it with water and some pressure from your fingers. Easiest to take off in the shower, it forms little tubes over your lashes. Doesn't smudge or run. It is not waterproof so don't wear it swimming but wear it for everything else. The best part, if you do cause it to come off- outrageous cry session or some such- it comes off in clean little tubes. No smudging or running. This stuff is amazing!

I have been looking for a mascara for 30 years that doesn't end in "Racoon eyes". I have tried everything under the sun (I seem to have oily eye lashes) had a drawer full of "waterproof, smudge proof, stay on, etc mascara's. None of these ever worked until I gave Blinc a try.
I actually rarely wore mascara since my wedding.
This is fabulous, no bleeding, smudging ever until I take it off.
