So go ahead, experiment fearlessly with your Beautyblender and discover the many ways its unique shape will set you free! Bounce Beautyblender against your face when applying make up. Bouncing, called stippling in the make up world, blends make up without creating changes in the texture or tone of your skin. Use Beautyblender's pointed side for hard-to-reach spots like around the nose and mouth, and under the eyes. Use the round base for foundation and blush on the larger areas of your face such as your forehead, cheeks and chin. If you apply make up with your fingers you'll find that Beautyblender will smooth and refine your make up to provide a clean finish. Use Beautyblender damp when applying wet/dry make up. When Beautyblender is wet it is normal for it to expand to nearly twice its original size. Wash after use and place in the Beautyblender insert pedestal to dry. I was hesitant to try this product due to its price (which is also why I only gave 4/5 stars) but I must say it really is great! I love the way you wet the blender with warm water before using it and the way it expands in size! It also makes the sponge ultra soft and prevents foundation from being soaked up and ultimately wasted. The finish that it gives your foundation after having "bounced" it all around your face is truly *flawless*. I have never gotten this type of finish from any other product, not even my large kabuki brush which I swore by until I tried this blender. Buying this two pack saves a little money over buying just one, so go ahead and splurge on it because you won't be sorry! P.S. Make sure to clean your sponge after every use (takes only a minute to) otherwise, it will stain!

At first I wasn't impressed at all when using it wet but I experimented with it a little and like it much better now. I now use it dry to apply Cover Girl corrector first (a product I love!) and instead of picking up liquid foundation with the blender I dab on with my finger and then just stipple and blend with the blender and I use just a tiny amount of foundation this way. I must say that while being far from an airbrushed/flawless application it does look much better and not at all cakey lilke when I was using a foundation brush. I now use my foundation brush to apply cream blush like I read about in some magazine and it works great!

The Beauty Blender is amazing! I've already gone through one and am on my second one (simply because I was uneducated on how to properly clean them!) otherwise they last you while! They allow your liquid foundation to spread evenly leaving you with a flawless finish! I'm no make up guru and this is one of my essentials simply because it makes the application of foundation easy & flawless! I highly reccomend it!

I had purchased a similar sponge however it didnt work that well. Then I saw these and heard qbout how good they are for makeup so I bought some. They are awesome they work great. Now I bought some more that inckudes the cleaner. The price I think should be a bit lower in my opinion but they are a great product. I used my 20% off coupon to purchase my new ones and it was also free shipping so that was nice.

I had tried several drugstore knockoffs prior to coming and purchasing the real beauty blender, and I wish I had just saved my money and bought the real thing to begin with.
It applies my foundation and concealer beautifully. It is a bit of a chore to clean, but I find cleaning it immediately after using it helps out a lot. Mine have not stained at all, the texture or shape hasn't changed, it has held up really well.
Do yourself a favor, and if you want a application spounge, get the real beauty blender.

This is a definite 5 stars for me! I've been using it every day for several months and love it. It blends my makeup perfectly while giving good coverage. I have rosacea and sensitive skin so my skin is often red. I use this sponge to apply a light foundation to the red areas and blend the foundation into the rest of my face. I find I am now using less foundation than I used to and with much better results. As far as cleaning the sponge. I use a bar soap and get almost all if not all of the foundation out every time. It takes about a minute of cleaning to keep the sponge free of stains. Mine still looks almost new. It is expensive but it lasts a long time.
