I love these pink sponges used to apply make up. My foundation and highlighter, etc. go on very smoothly. I use the BB formula cleanser and it does a good job. The cleanser does a great job on makeup brushes. It seems to release the make up from the brushes without too much sudsing and my brushes look brand new and super clean after using the cleanser. My only negative is that this stuff is not cheap!!

I LOVE this product! It helps me apply makeup evenly and makes application a breeze in the morning! The cleanser has been great for cleaning my brushes in addition to the Beauty Blender. I will definitely re-purchase.

I have been using beautyblender for a year and I have always loved it until now. Lately the sponge is tearing very easily after only a few uses. Today I decided to throw out my old one and as soon as I wet the new one the tip literally tore off! My old one has a few spots missing from tearing and I thought maybe it was because I wasn't very gentle while trying to clean it once, but I am amazed that it would happen to a brand new one before I even used it! I am so disappointed because using beautyblender has become part of my daily makeup routine. This never happened to the first 2 I had, so I wonder why the quality of their product has changed.

Originally hesitated to buy because of its price and so happy I took the plunge. Worth every penny because concealer and foundation application is light (no heavy look) but coverage is complete because of this unusual tool. Use damp. Tried with both powder and cream foundations; works magic with both. Used with waterproof cream concealer. I have a couple of brown spots, size of a nickel on my face & they're GONE. Dot on concealer & DAB with sponge. Apply foundation over w/sponge. Develop the technique & use less product with this sponge. End of the day makeup still looks great; very natural looking even though its full coverage foundation. Bought the set with the cleaner because of the comments about difficulty cleaning without the cleaner-but I haven't used it yet. I have no problem washing the sponge; I rub it against a piece of hard milled soap and then essentially squeeze the products 'out' and rinse. A bit of pink washes out after the first few uses & washes; but it doesn't affect application or the sponge. Expense is the only downside but it is fabulous.

I start with a small amount of foundation (on the pointy end) and add small amounts as needed.

Sponge CAN NOT be cleaned without its specific cleanser. Cleanser must be applied wherever makeup is. Takes some practice.

Still, wouldn't want to go back to applying foundation with fingers or brush.

The sponges themselves are excellent and oh so much better than those white triangular sponges from other brands. I use a mousse blush with these and you just spin the rounded end of the sponge in the mousse blush container a bit to get a little blush on the sponge, then bounce the sponge up and down on your cheekline and it actually goes on really well! This is much better than using a brush or your fingers to apply blush.

The only problem is the size of the cleanser bottle - it is way too big to pack when travelling. I had to leave it at home on my recent trip and am very glad I did as it would have caused me to pay the $100 overweight-baggage fee had it been in there. So, I just washed the sponge with water and a little antibacterial liquid hand soap after each use. I'm sure the cleanser will work well at home.

I did notice that a good amount of pink dye came out of the sponge each time I rinsed it in cold tap water, though.

I am planning on buying one of these for my mother, whose blush is often applied too clown-face-looking. I think using this will give her a better application. If she uses it, LOL.

i use this product with my Revlon Colorstay liquid makeup, i dot the foundation on my skin first then use the beauty blender to stamp and spread it out. i absolutely loveee this, never have to use another foundation/stippling brush again! best thing, it has more then one use! i use the rounder end for foundation and the pointy tip for concealer under my eyes and to blend around my hairline and blemishes!
