Our custom chrome-plated Double-Edge (DE) Safety Razor was created with serious wet shavers in mind. (The safety razor was first introduced in the late 18th century as a safer alternative to a straight razor.)
You probably saw your father or grandfather shave with a DE razor, and today many modern guys are using it for a closer, traditional-style shave.
The blade is packaged in a black gift box, and accompanied with a pack of starter blades and an instructional card.
Made in Germany.

Comments about Baxter of California Double-Edged Safety Razor, 1 ea:
The rather large head on this device and poor balance make it difficult to maneuver. Also I think the gap between the blade and the lower plate is a bit too wide and the blade angle is not quite right for a smooth, effortless shave. Be sure to pull your skin tight and don't be in a hurry if you use this razor or you will get a pinch that will leave a lump on your face that lasts for a few weeks as I did. I would apply for a refund if I could but I don't think that option is available. I am going back to my 1966 vintage Gillette 3 piece razor.
