Like I said, I am 50+ and I have started to use BareMinerals for about 3 months now, and I have noticed a big change in my skin. Matter of a fact, just last week I ran into someone I use to work with, and she said "goodness what are you doing, you look great". I told her what I am using for on my skin, and she purchased the foundation. I love it, it does not make me look like I have icing on a cake:) it looks great. Also, I live in the south, and the heat plus my natural power surges, this product is awsome.

I love Bare Essentials but I found over the years that no matter how lightly this was applied it made my face appear dry and like it was covered with powder. Almost "cakey". I am well versed in how to apply makeup and how to apply Bare Essentials but this just wasn't working - even when using a great moisturizer and primer. However, I have found with this foundation (and almost any other brand or type of foundation) the BEST application comes from putting a few pumps of Oil of Olay Regenerist Serum into your hand and putting a small amount of the foundation into the serum. Mix it up and apply it to clean, moisturized skin. It applies like smooth velvet, has no cakey or powdery effects and wears all day without unattractive creasing. Plus you are getting all the benefits of the OOO Serum. I love the smooth, light feel and my silky skin. I almost stopped using BE foundation until I tried this on a whim. Now I love it.

This is the only thing I will wear on my face from now on. I have a combination of dry, oily and normal skin on my face. My face also has red blotches and I have dark circles under my eyes. Usually when I use a foundation, it looks greasy. I use a concealer, it gives me raccoon eyes. I use powder, I look like somebody scribbled with chalk on the dry spots of my face.

But this was absolutely perfect. I only needed a teeny bit of this powder to cover all imperfections. It left my skin tone even and my face luminous. My face didn't get greasy or dry and it was also great for my sensitive skin. I can't speak highly enough about this product; it is well worth the price. I also purchased the bare minerals concealer brush and the bare minerals kabuki brush and my skin looked so beautiful. It was unbelievable. I thought I would need to buy the concealer as well, but I did not need to. My face looked natural and my skin tone was even. It looked like I had naturally beautiful skin. This stuff is seriously like a miracle and I will never use any other type of makeup on my face again as long as I can buy this. It is wonderful.
