I have replaced a Sheer cCver travel brush for mineral foundation 3 times within a year. They are made of cheap plastic and always break. By comparison this is High Quality and Sturdy. What I like best is that the brush can be washed and that you can adjust the flow of the powder. Great product.

I have been a bare minerals user for years, and while I am a big fan of their mineral foundation, the only complaint I have ever had, is that it's a bit of a messy process with regard to application. It is the nature of the beast, however. When I saw this product, it was the the answer to all my "messy" prayers, and I was so enthusiastic about it, that I failed to read the reviews that had already been posted. In a word, this product is "dysfunctional". It doesn't work at all. Makeup gets loaded into a small canister at the bottom, and you simply invert and "tap" to get the foundation to come through the brush. Not. You can tap until your fingers are black and blue. Not to mention that it was a total waste of foundation powder. In addition, this product is technically not "100% color guarantee" eligible. [...] it was not an item that I was ready to throw into that bottom drawer and forget about. We all know how many of those we have in our collections!

It simply does not work. I tried and tried and tried, the product would not come out onto the brush. Big waste of money.

I thought it was me so I almost bought another one thinking that the one I had was defective. I don't understand why this does not work but it just does not release the mineral powder onto the brush. I think we all deserve either a working replacement or some kind of credit for the product it was not inexpensive as far as useless products go.

nice big brush but it seems the powder never goes down and it doesn't look like it is on my face either. So, not happy with the product at all.

Comments about bareMinerals Refillable Buffing Brush, 1 ea:
I thought I was the only one with this problem but after reading the other reviews I realize I am not alone. You simply cannot get the product to get onto the brush. You end up thinking that maybe it's on there and you can't see it so you tap and buff it on your face for way too long trying to figure out if it's doing anything. even if you shake it like crazy it doesn't put any powder on the bristles. I wished it worked but it doesn't at all and am very frustrated that I spent thirty dollars for such a useless thing.

The concept is great but the product does not deliver enough foundation for me. It will work best for touch up or mineral veil touch up.

Comments about bareMinerals Refillable Buffing Brush, 1 ea:
The brush end itself is good and soft, but as a portable gadget it's a total waste of money. Not only does it lose powder from the bottom, so that it leaks a fine dust all over my bag, but it doesn't let the powder through very well from the brush end, so that you aren't applying much of anything with that good brush. Better off dipping it in the usual pot. Pretty bad for a [$] gimmick.Don't waste your money.
Pros
- Soft
Cons
- Brush can fall out
- Doesn't dispense

Comments about bareMinerals Refillable Buffing Brush, 1 ea:
Saw this and was elated that there was finally a product that would dispense Bare Minerals on the go. Great idea. Only problem is that nothing comes out. The first one I bought I had to return because the brush came out (and spilled the Bare Minerals all over) and wouldn't go back in and stay in. Received another one and it still doesn't dispense. Why do they release these things when they don't work?? I would think they could perfect it and really have a winner.

it doesn't work that well...I was disappointed that every time I had to shake so hard to get just a tiny little bit amount of product onto my face......don't recommend. It's way better to use normal brush. If you are thinking of saving time or convenience on traveling, this is not the right one...The products are good though
Comments about bareMinerals Refillable Buffing Brush, 1 ea:
This product is great in theory but needs serious improvement. The mineral powder is really hard to get onto the brush and comes out in such small amounts that I only use it for touch ups. I really wanted it to work because it seemed like a great solution to spilling foundation all over the place. I probably wouldn't be as disappointed if it wasn't so expensive.

Comments about bareMinerals Refillable Buffing Brush, 1 ea:
it is very hard to get the make up to come through the brush. Some does come out, but not very much. I keep it in my desk at work, and it's good for a touch up, but I'd never want to apply my foundation with this first thing in the morning. It would take too much buffing to look good.
