Comments about bareMinerals READY Touch Up Veil® Broad Spectrum SPF 15, Original Mineral Veil, 1 ea:
I loved the mineral veil in loose powder form but loose powder can be really messy. This compact is perfect. The powder is very finely milled, which makes it lightweight. It instantly mattifies. It's not necessarily long-lasting, but it wears off beautifully. It does not cake up your makeup. If you're looking for something that gives extra coverage, this is NOT the product. It does not provide any coverage, making it strictly a setting powder. The compact will last you at least 10 months. For the quality, I think it's a very reasonable price.

Comments about bareMinerals READY Touch Up Veil® Broad Spectrum SPF 15, Original Mineral Veil, 1 ea:
I reluctantly purchased this to replace Lancome Photogenic powder (which is no longer being made) and Shu Uemura powder (harder and harder to find). I had relatively low expectations as the regular Mineral Veil is messy and does not provide the finish I want, but this absolutely blew me away! I am oily in the T-zone and I use a serum and sunscreen which tend to leave me with a shine - this took care of it. Not only did it take care of it, it provided a beautiful soft finish which lasted hours! It did not cake, settle in lines, or ball up upon application over my moisturizer/sunscreen. I use Timebalm concealer under my eyes and it set that beautifully. It's been a long time since I have been so happy with a powder! I can only hope that this is not one to be discontinued or changed in any way - ever.

This product really makes my face look airbrushed. I have a very oily face and this really helps control oil and mattifies the shine. I wear this over my Mally powder foundation which I thought would look too powdery, but it doesn't. It just melds with my skin. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great finishing powder.

It was just what I was looking for. A great mat cover up. I have a sensitive skin and I have no reaction to it. The color is great as I am very pale. It does remove the shine pretty well.

Good to cover shine. I have fair skin and it looked powdery on my skin. I'll get a different shade next time.
Comments about bareMinerals READY Touch Up Veil® Broad Spectrum SPF 15, Original Mineral Veil, 1 ea:
I've tried the loose Mineral Veil in the past and was never overly impressed. No matter how hard I tried to tap off the excess and then buff well, I always seemed to use too much and hated the result. But this compact version is awesome! I have very large pores and some acne scars. But just a quick swipe of this makes them virtually invisible. It gives a lovely air-brushed effect and even my hairdresser commented on my "beautiful skin"! I use the Original shade and it blends perfectly. Highly recommend!

Comments about bareMinerals READY Touch Up Veil® Broad Spectrum SPF 15, Original Mineral Veil, 1 ea:
This is great for oily skin to control the shine through out the day and night for an airbrushed look. Its super fine and super silky (if you have fair to medium skin tone stick with the original, if you are on the darker side of medium, tan or dark go with the tinted if you want a little color to help touch up foundation at the same time-tinted definately has color to it) but unfortunately its not for me-If you have super oily skin like me, stick with the loose version, application with the brush allows you to control the amounts and blend evenly without disturbing your foundation, with the pad you will have to lightly rub it around your face to blend-which is no prob for most, but if your super oily, it will smear your foundation and/blush, leaving an unever look.
Wanna read a funny story? Below is my experience with the tinted pressed mineral veil:
I was excited to see the pressed version available. I went in to the BE Boutique and the woman there talked me into purchasing the tinted version-I tried the tinted loose and didn't like it b/c it was too dark, so I know I prefer the original when it comes to color or not, but she was persistant on me getting the tinted and had tons or reason that she was convinced I needed. So I bought it (funny b/c I also bought fairly light foundation at the same time...??). I was on my way to dinner so it was a perfect time to try it out and touch up in the car just before getting there. I have fair skin, and like I said SUPER oily. Upon the first dab on my face I freaked out! I was a splotch of ORANGE in the middle of my forehead!!!! There was NO blending this away, so I tried to kinda of buff it all over so at least it was consistant-well that made my whole face a giant splotchy orange on a white neck, OMG, even in a dimly lit resturant this would be OBVIOUS!!-I only had my trusty original loose mineral veil, I tried some of that over it, hoping it would at least tone it down, NOPE! I had to cancel dinner plans-no way was I going like that-now that I washed it off I can laugh because it was hilariously orange. And splotchy, I know now that even if I bought the orignal non tinted, using that pad to apply would smear my foundation and blush and be heavier in the extra oily areas (really bad with the tinted), the loose version with the fluffy brush, it keeps my face looking matte and airbrushed all day and night.
