While it's exciting to see Bare Minerals (or "Bare Escentuals"...the worst name in the history of cosmetics) coming out with new products, this one needs a little tweaking. Even when applied lightly, it goes on heavier than the original powder and looks a lot like stage make-up. I was worried when Shiseido bought the company a couple years ago, and I'm not convinced that they are headed in the right direction with new products. I hope they'll continue to work on a compact-based foundation (that my kids won't spill quite as easily) that has more flattering coverage.

Bought the same color as I use in the loose powder and it was several shades lighter. Reminds me of the powder makeup my Grandmother used to use back in the 50's - HORRIBLE PRODUCT.
