Comments about bareMinerals READY Eyeshadows 2.0 Eyecolor Duos, The Escape, 1 ea:
This is the "holy grail" of eyeshadow. I can't believe how excited I am about just eyeshadow, but it's completely perfect!
The Escape has a light color that is a great matte neutral shade (for my light Caucasian skin). This light color goes on silky-smooth, has enough coverage for those little veins that show on the eyelids, and yet doesn't look heavy or crease. It is a nice neutral: not too yellow (although ever-so-slightly yellow to combat red tones on eyelids), no greys that sometimes show up in neutral shades, and definitely not pink.
The dark shade can be turned into a soft eyeliner with a bit of water--I use eyedrops because they're sterile and easy to carry around and get one drop. I use a liner brush and the dark shadow turns into a liquid eyeliner easily (mark of highly-pigmented formulas in my experience), goes on wet and blends into the lash line. The dark color is a very neutral espresso brown: slightly on the cool side (if I had any complaints it has maybe a hint of "heather purple" if that makes sense), but basically not too warm and not too cool.
Plus the packaging is a delight (for this price, it should be) and overall, I feel like I've found "the one" for my daily eyeshadow!
