As a primer, you'd probably want to stick as using this in the evening because it is highly pigmented. If you're feeling too lazy to put on makeup in the morning for example, this is perfect by itself. Apply with a bit of eyeliner and some mascara and you'll get complimented on the beauty and simplicity of the look. My hubby dislikes makeup on me, but likes this look.

I am in love with the original bareMinerals eyelid primer and this product line in gerenal. I will not be without it. However, the brightening formula turns my lids a solid gold color and tends to skew whatever shadow color I am wearing. I've tried mixing it with other primers and that seems to help, but I wouldn't say there is a brightening benefit to justify the effort... it's just gold. Because it is so highly pigmented, it's a bit harder to apply than the original skin colored formula. I'll stick with the original.

hurt my eyes and got all over. gave me an eye infection. too goldy and too sparkly. might work for someone else but not me. very disappointed. usually their products are good.

I wear this eyelid primer everyday. Don't be put off by paying [$] for a small tube - it's lasted me over a year. I was afraid it would be too glittery, but not at all. It's a perfect base for all other eyeshadow, and gives a nice, soft highlight just below my eyebrow. One warning - and this has to do more with my own technique than with the product - I apply it with my ring finger, and often get some on the skin under my eye near the inner crease, then have to go back with a q-tip and eye makeup remover to get it off. You might avoid this by applying it with a brush, but I feel I'd lose too much product if I applied it with a brush. I highly recommend this product!
