1. Swirl a small amount of bareMinerals into the lid with the Flawless Application Brush (for lighter coverage) or the Full Coverage Kabuki Brush (for more coverage) until the bareMinerals are tucked into the bristles. 2. Tap off excess. bareMinerals should not be visible on the outside of the brush. 3. Buff bareMinerals onto the skin in a swirling, circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbones. Then, buff around your face, working your way to the cheeks, forehead, and nose. Buff until you're satisfied with the coverage. Less is more when applying bareMinerals. |

I wish they would have encluded an application brush with the purchase and raised the price for the convenience of it. Coverage is average. I use the product for every day application.

I have mature skin issues such as uneven pigmentation. The original Fairly Light foundation, which provides a little glow, worked far more effectively to blur and conceal my worst spots. When I apply the matte foundation, I can't even see a difference. When I attempt to apply extra to conceal, it turns orangey over the spots and makes them more noticeable. I have used the original for many years, but I will never use the matte product again.

I'm almost 50 & I've used SO many foundations - this ranks as one of the best, if not THE best I've ever used. Once you get the hang of applying it you will be amazed at how beautiful it makes your skin look. I'm quite fair and I find that mixing "Fair" with "Fairly Light" gives me the best color match. I have dry skin, and although it seems counter-intuitive the matte formula works better for me than the original. My skin looks like me, but better - evens out skintone, covers imperfections, never feels or looks masklike.
