I use this with the Bare Escentuals foundation and mineral veil. When I first got the brush, it was great for 3 months. It didn't shed and applied everything wonderfully onto my face, but after that the brush sheds horribly. It would shed all over my face, the bristles fall onto my chest, and on the ground. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

I have worked in the cosmetics industry for over 18 years...and this is the BEST brush I have ever used....plus the price is so affordable ....still other higher priced brushes do not compare....it works best with mineral powder foundation, the hairs stay put ...you can wash with mild soap and water and reuse...I love it so much I buy a new one every few months....(keep the old) just in case they ever discontinue it...
