Good product to lengthen lashes but found it very difficult to remove. Future purchases will not include a "waterproof" mascara.

This is by far the best waterproof, paraben free mascara that I have used. I've tried most other brands and all of them clumped like crazy and/or smeared a lot under my eyes and WOULDN'T COME OFF WITH SOAP. This is the ONLY one that stays mostly put and doesn't clump. I decided to try a primer to see if that would help with the small amount of smudging that I was getting under my eye. I got a free sample of Lancome CILS Booster XL and it made this mascara perfect. It doesn't smudge under my eye at all now and combined, my lashes appear to be much thicker. By itself, this is NOT a volumizing mascara. To me, that word goes with clumping! You can certainly use it by itself. You will probably get some smudging, but it is minimal compared to the other brands that are paraben free and are more expensive and you won't have clumping. By itself, it washes off easily with soap and water. With the Lancome, it comes off, just with a little more effort. There are paraben free eye make-up removers on the market that help with any stubborn leftovers!

I tried bareMinerals non-waterproof mascara in a trial size as part of a kit and I was amazed how 'clean' it is. It doesn't clump, it separates, yet its still substantial adding color, volume, and definition. However the non-waterproof formula flakes throughout the day and ends up below my lower lashes in crumbs. Also I live in a rainforest so non-waterproof is rarely an option.
I gave this a try hoping it could be as wonderful as the original but with more staying power and it IS! And its not sticky and thick like other waterproof formulas. My favorite mascara! Suitable for in the office and going out. Enjoy it!

I've tried alot of natural mascaras, but this is the best so far. It doesn't flatten my just-curled lashes like the other natural mascaras do. Although it lengthens really well, I wish it would add volume.

This is not the mascara you want to add much volume, but that wasn't my goal. The best part is the brush, which really separates and defines my lashes. It also lengthens. All this while looking natural and striking at the same time without looking garish. No clumping!
