Usually I avoid pinks like the plague. Pink makeup is sure to bring, "Are you feeling sick?" questions all day long. Peaches and browns are my thing, so I never, ever would have expected to like this stuff; let alone love it. I was moved to try Flowers because of Leslie Blodgett's continual recommendations of it as a "favorite", in her catalogues and ads. My skin & hair coloring are very similar to Leslie's. I've seen pictures of her wearing Flowers, and it looks so pretty, (obviously). I figured it couldn't hurt to try it, so I tested it on my hand at Planet Beauty. I wound up ordering a jar later that day. Flowers looks dark and garish in the container, but on my cheeks it provides a natural "just got off the ski slopes" flush that's very flattering. It does not have purple or blue undertones...it's almost a shade of red/coral on my skin. My staple blush is "Warmth" so I wouldn't have expected to like this at all. It turns out I love it. After using up a full jar (after over a year of use) I ordered another, because I've never found another color quite like Flowers. It's the perfect flush that goes with any other makeup color, but it's especially nice with a sheer red lipgloss.

I absolutely LOVE this blush! It seems very bright in the jar, but looks like a natural blushed glow on the cheek.
My skin color is quite fair in the winter but is a light tan in the summer. I find I can use this blush year round. In fact, one jar lasted me almost exactly one year (applying it almost every day).
This blush is just so pretty and I can't imagine wearing another color EVER! It's the only blush I've tried that doesn't look chalky on my skin.
