Well, I was looking for more compression in my thighs. Really they are simply very dark, thick tights. I love the flat waistband, but I found that for the price, I could have done better with less expensive name brands. This was my first spanx brand purchase and given all the media hype I was expecting more. THese will NOT prevent a panty line from showing, and will NOT firmly stay in place while working out (yoga).
I wear them now as an under layer for cold days or under skirts and dresses, but I couldn't in good conscious tell anyone to pay the price for a thick pair of tights even with a fantastic elastic-less waistband!
