Barracuda: Classic blue-red opaque

Highly pigmented strong red. Dab on for a stain-like look. Named after the song by Heart.

  • Rich in natural oils and butters to moisturize and protect lips
  • Vanilla/grapefruit scent
  • Paraben free and no animal testing ever.
  • Naturally based, long wearing, Rock 'N' Roll lip gloss

Amour Beauty lip gloss melds high-end fashion, real Rock- 'N'- Roll attitude and a moisturizing formula. A wide range of shades packed with natural oils and butters make a gloss that is long wearing, paraben free and never tested on animals. Inspired by music and classic pop culture, the glosses are named after songs, bands, clubs and legendary icons. Amour Beauty lip gloss is a favorite of Rachel Zoe, Janie Bryant, Karen O, Eva Mendes, Lady Ga Ga, and many more.

Amour Beauty is the brainchild of rocker/ model and new mom Theo Kogan. As the singer for the most notably the all- female band Lunachicks, Theo is known for her over- the- top makeup styles. She has modeled for Calvin Klein, Burberry and Kenneth Cole, to name a few and has acted in film, television and in avant- garde theater. A lip gloss that would stay on during a high- energy performance was something Theo craved and so she created what she considers the missing piece in the beauty industry: Naturally based, long wearing, Rock 'N' Roll lip gloss.

Comments about armour beauty lip gloss, barracuda, .21 oz:

This gloss is, to me, more like a liquid lipstick. It easily out-performs any other lip gloss I've tried and gives opaque color without having to go back in with a liner afterwards or fuss with it at all, really. One note: on me, this color is not a true blue-based red as described--it pulls very pink-red. I bought this at a store, though, so color expectation was not an issue for me- I love the color and I think it's very flattering for my colouring (fair, brunette). I also own Cat Club (which I also like, but find to be much less opaque and more of a traditional gloss; also the color is just less unique and exciting compared to Barracuda IMO), and I really want to try Siouxie (the warm, tomato red) next!
