Finally- a scented product that doesn't smell like it's designed for a 6 year old! I love, love, love the smell of this! But moreover, I love what it does for my oily, sensitive, breakout prone, aging skin! (How's THAT for a hard to treat skin combo?) I got this last week, and have been using it every day since; it has made an observable positive difference in my skin already. I had been starting to break out on my forehead, began using these products, and nipped it in the bud. I should state that it wasn't the Toner Tea Bar alone- I purchased the "Basic 5 for oily skin" kit, and I have been using all of the products religiously- so I guess THEY nipped my breakout in the bud. But I can state that the Toner Tea Bar itself doesn't make my skin dry or tight, though it does tingle a little- just not in a bad way- it doesn't make my skin red or hot like some cleansers do- it just feels like it's WORKING. I will swear that my pores already look smaller, and that my skin has a little glow to it. I also seem to be less oily and more balanced. Not so many mid morning/afternoon blotting sessions. So far, so great! And I really love the fact that there are not a bunch of cancer causing chemicals in any Arcona product. You get what you pay for. And this is worth every penny. Plus it smells delightful- woody and green- but, as it is naturally (not artificially) scented, the smell fades quickly from your skin, so it doesn't interfere with your perfume. (that's a pet peeve of mine- I don't want to smell like a product- I want to smell like my perfume, which I pay good money for...!) Keep up the good work, Arcona!

I love this product, and find that it hits the right balance of cleansing my blemish-prone skin without stripping it, but I wince at the price. This is really just a vegetable oil soap, containing simple and inexpensive ingredients (along with the oil there is witch hazel, lots of tea extract, honey, essential oils...look at the product page). I suspect that the reason it's sold in its own soap dish (rather than offered as refills for a dish that you buy once) is that it helps justify the high price. I get tired of disposing of those heavy plastic containers (the bottom is recyclable, but not the lid). Why can't Arcona sell two bars as a refill for, say, $25 or $30? They make a big deal out of being natural and eco, but they get big demerits for excessive packaging.
About the smell: I didn't like it at first, but now it reminds me of root beer. The aroma lessens as you use the bar.

Another great product my Arcona, I use this daily and it helped with my breakouts and overall feel of my skin in a few weeks. It has an odd smell, not bad, just odd. I love the bar and you get a lot for your money, this will last forever.

I got this as a sample - lucky me! Lathers well and cleans my face completely, including make-up removal. A very strong but not unpleasant smell. Will certainly be purchasing a full sized bar!

I have acne prone skin and I use this product day and night. It cleans my skin thoroughly without overdrying it. It also does a pretty good job in removing makeup. Since I've been using it, my skin has been clear. I use it along with their acne spot treatment which is awesome. I see results very quickly. My only issue is the plastic container that it comes in. I find it wasteful and bad for the environment especially that its a bar of soap. Why not just have it wrapped in wax paper of some sort like any other bar?

You will see improvement within a few short days. I had imbalanced skin and really bad acne before I started using this product and other products from Arcona. It's been 3 years and you would never know I had less than perfect skin. This product heals scarring and improves texture and clarity.

I have been using Arcona products for about 2 months now. This is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. Your skin feels nice and tight but not dry after you use it. It has helped to shrink my pores. I have oily skin around the T-zone but dry around the corners of my nose, jaw line and around my eyes. This has balanced out my skin and reduced the amount clogged pores around my nose. I would highly recommend this product line. A good tip is to cut the soap bar in 1/2 or even in 1/4 so that it doesn't get gummy and it lasts longer as well.

I have normal to oily skin, and this cleanser does the trick. It removes makeup with just one washing. (You don't have to wash your face twice, which is the case with some cleansers.) My skin feels thoroughly cleansed, but not too dry or tight. Plus, it lasts a long time and the container makes it easy for travelling. The whole Arcona line is superb. Acne breakouts are now rare for me (I used to get breakouts weekly) after using Arcona for 4 months.

When I turned 30 3 years ago, I started to breakout. This cleanser, in combination with other Arcona products, completely balanced my skin and made it look gorgeous. Good skin is priceless, and I have found this line to be completely worth every penny. Some people are turned off by the smell, but I think it just smells more natural than other chemical based products on the market.
Highly recommend!!
