I can't use a lot of mineral powders because they contain bismuth oxychloride but I've always been on a lookout for a convenient oil-controlling powder with good coverage and SPF-25.
I have tried several products with this type of brush/powder applicator including Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 30 and I was always frustrated by the lack of control of the product that came out or the quality of the brush. I was expecting the same from this but was very pleasantly surprised. This is a high quality brush which flake off on your skin.
Additionally, there is a pump action to push powder into the brush instead of a twist action which frankly doesn't work and leads to carpel tunnel.
Upon first use, given the lack of product that I'd experienced with other such applicators, I over did it and it really caked on me, so go easy.
I can use it throughout the day which is great b/c you're supposed to apply SPF every 2 hours.
The texture of the powder is really fine so you can definitely layer over problem areas.

This is a wonderful natural foundation powder. I'm surprised no one has reviewed it yet--I guess it must be fairly new. It's very easy to apply, and gives a beautiful glow, but not shiny like some mineral makeup can be. I have oily skin, and this lasts well. I have to blot my face several times a day, and because of that it wears off a bit around my nose, but I've had to touch up my nose and cheeks no matter what foundation I've ever used. I think it makes my skin look a little younger and healthier, too, which is nice! I've used a million powder and mineral foundations in my lifetime, and I hope to use this from here on out. Please don't ever discontinue, Arcona!!
