I have tried many different sunscreens in search of the perfect product. This is it! It's slightly tinted, but rubs in completely. It's light, not greasy, unscented and uses only zinc and titanium dioxide (no chemical sunscreens). You don't even know that you're wearing it and it's easy to apply makup after putting it on. Since I wear sunscreen every day, I want a sunscreen that blends well and that I can't feel.
My search is over. This is the sunscreen that I will use and repurchase when needed.

I decided to try this based on the excellent reviews, but I couldn't have been more disappointed. I even used it twice, just to make sure the first time wasn't a weird off-day.
First off, the tint in this is incredibly pale. I'm already fair-skinned - about an NC20 in MAC, but when I put this on, it was like I was wearing a pale mask. I can understand why some people would say it's not effective, because in order to get it spread out thinly enough that it doesn't look thick, cakey and pale, you probably won't have the amount of coverage you should be getting from a sunblock.
After about 20 minutes it absorbs a bit and starts to look more normal. Don't think this is a product that you can slap on and then run out the house in - if you don't let it settle, you will end up with a Noh mask face.
Oover the next few hours it became dry and chalky, so that you could see every single whitehead or uneven skin patch. I can see how this might be a good product to for greasy skin, to keep your oil in control, or in the tropics where it's humid, but in dry California weather, on my combination skin, it was awful. Never again.

Comments about ARCONA Reozone 40 Protect SPF 40, 2 oz:

This has recently been reformulated to a MUCH darker tint that will suit med-dark complexions only. It is now unwearable for me and will most likely be too dark for many who have been using it. They should have made it just a little bit darker, such as a medium-neutral beige which would have suited both lighter and darker complexions. It looks more like a bronzer now. They should also have announced that it has been reformulated to a darker tint so people won't waste their money.

I received a sample of this from [@] a while ago, and THANK GOODNESS I did, because I will never use any other brand on my face ever again! I am Asian, and for some reason my complexion is hard to match. This blends in perfectly and greaselessly and without that horrible sunscreen smell. My skin has never looked so good!

After trying dozens of daily-wear sunscreens, I had given up on finding something that was not greasy, smelly, cakey, or otherwise awful, I found this. I could not love it more. Texture, smell, coverage, even a micro amount of tint-- my skin is happy! Wear it every day, enough protection for all but a day outsided.

Comments about ARCONA Reozone 40 Protect SPF 40, 2 oz:

Like everything else Arcona makes, it delivers. I should just throw out every other brand of skincare I currently use and just buy Arcona. I am pale Caucasian and usually I roll my eyes with every tinted moisturizer I get as a sample (such as this one) and toss it because its too dark. THIS IS PERFECT and before you conclude that this is only good for pale white women perhaps you should read a bit more. I am 43 and always looked 10 years younger until a few months ago, when I started to look exactly my age. I have eye bags and under eye circles and the dreaded "parentheses" between my nose and mouth and mouth and chin. Spackling on full-coverage compact makeup makes it all go away for about 4 hours, then it dries out, settles into every line and wears off and I start to look like Bette Davis in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane", in other words, DOUBLE my age. No moisturizer was working to keep the lines plumped up all day, and no makeup covered the circles for very long. Wearing tinted moisturizer on the weekends was out of the question, even though full coverage spackle looks out of place with a t-shirt. Well, I smooth on a little of this on half of my face, over my regular day mositurizer, and the under eye circle is almost gone AND it looks like i had an eye lift on one eye. The parentheses are gone and it looks like I had filler on one side of my face. I wear it as tinted moisturizer on the weekends and the lines are hydrated and stay barely noticeable until I wash it off at the end of the day. Instead of stuff marketed as primer, I use this as primer (that's where the usefulness to darker-skinned women comes in) and my compact foundation doesn't budge and my parentheses seem to magically stay away. The eye circles don't require extra foundation or concealer either. Which is great because it certainly looks better than 8-hour old, dried up, caked, concealer-on-top-of-dark-circles-look which is what I had going on before i found this stuff. [...]

I do not have "trouble" skin so this is an amazing "my skin but better" option for me. Prior to using this, I was using sunscreen, tinted moisturizer, primer, concealer and finishing powder. With this, I can get away with just Reozone 40 and finishing powder (although I am a primer fanatic so I often still wear primer with it). I am fair skinned and do not have an issue with the tint, it blends in perfectly. The price for such a high quality, multi-purpose product really blows me away too! Will repurchase over and over!

I wanted to try this because I love the Arcona line and wanted a high SPF for daytime use. The color is terrible, a light pinky peach. This product should have come with the color guarantee because it really does have a tint to it. It is not moisturizing at all and you really need to rub it in since the color is so bad. Will probably have to toss, what a waste of money.

Nice physical barrier. Tint provides light coverage and does not leave me looking pale. Survives my sweaty yoga class without stinging my eyes. Light and easily absorbed, even on my very oily skin. However, a larger quantity is needed given its mousse like consistency in comparison to other tinted moisturizers with SPF such as Perricone's No Foundation Foundation.

I've worked my way through dozens of high and low end sunscreens over the past few years and I have finally found the perfect one. Frankly, I had never heard of the brand before, but the prior reviews swayed me into purchasing. I am thrilled with my purchase. The sunscreen is lightly tinted and blends beautifully into the skin. It is lightweight and not greasy at all. I've tried much more expensive products that come with a horrible sunscreen smell that never dissipates, but not the Reozone. It has no scent whatsoever. Great product!

I bought this sunscreen for daily use and am very happy with it. My skin is light, but not extremely pale. I was a little nervous about the tint, but I love it. I previously bought the Arcona no-tint SPF 25 and it never looked rubber in all of the way. The tint makes the sunscreen less visible on my skin.

A few people commented on the sunscreen eliminating shine and it does! My skin is dry, but oily and always shiny in pictures. This sunscreen has the same affect as a matte finishing product. It's a big added bonus for those of us who prefer not to shine. I don't need to wear any foundation or powder with this product.

I originally received this product as a sample, but was hooked right away and ordered the full size. I have finally found a sunscreen I can use daily. I love the light tint, which provides just a hint of coverage, and the amazingly non-greasy and not heavy at all texture. It's so comfortable, it's hard to believe I'm wearing a broad-spectrum SPF 40. It feels more like a soothing daytime lotion. The proof, however, is in the wearing. For example, I recently spent a sunny weekend in Las Vegas, and came home without one new freckle. I use this product in conjunction with Arcona's Lightening Drops serum to fade my freckles and even my skin tone overall (using the Lightening Drops every p.m., and Reozone whenever I'm exposed to the sun). I have seen a big overall improvement. The price is very reasonable for the amount of product as well. Wearing sunscreen used to be a necessary evil, but with Arcona's Reozone, it's now actually a pleasurable part of my beauty routine.
