It's difficult to isolate the brow hairs so some color may get on the skin below. If you have full brows the colored gel will set them in place nicely while adding a bit of color. But if your brows are more sparse or have faded, the color deposited isn't enough to make a difference. You're better off applying powder color and sealing with a clear gel - for a lot less money.

After giving it a try for over a week, I find that the quality of the gel is clumpy and doesn't give a smooth finish like other gels that I've used. The only feature that I like is the particular shade that was available--brunette.

My daughter told me about this product when I complained that eyebrow pencils looked so fake. The eyebrow gel color is just enough to darken any lighter/gray brow hairs and makes your eyebrows look finished. The only trouble I have controlling the amount of gel used when the product is brand new. Otherwise it's a wonderful product.

I was skeptical when I pulled the wand out because the gel was a much lighter shade than my eyebrows, but it ended up looking really good. It filled in the more sparse areas, but it did take a little work to make it look natural in one especially sparse problem spot. I was also worried when I applied it that it wouldn't really hold but it held my brows in place all day and the best part was that it didn't flake off like other brow gels do.

I love this product. My eyebrows are sparse and a fairly light color. This brow gel makes you look like you have a whole lot more. It is pretty easy to apply with its mascara-like brush and really makes it look like you have more hair, not just smudged lines. The trick is to keep the product light on the brush and apply lightly until you get the look you want.
