A friend used hers to do my hair and I got more compliments than I've ever received on my hair. So I ordered my own! Its super simple to use - but it does get ver hot very quickly - so a bit of caution is advised. On the major plus side - it takes very little time to do my hair (7-10 minutes) and it lasts all day, and on brush out next day, with a bit of beach wave spray, it still looks great.

First off I have never wrote a review before, but I always read them before buying something. I bought this curling iron for my 15 year old daughter for Xmas this year. LOVE IT!! I have thick, kinda wavy hair, and so does my daughter. I have curled her hair before and it has never stayed for more than a few hours. I did my whole head, wore it all day long, went to bed and still looked great the next morning. I am a mom of three girls and I would be this product over and over again. Great Barrel size, great price (I bought when they had 20% off, plus free shipping). The only con I find is that the glove is a little hard to use, and the barrel gets very hot and we have a few burns. Overall Love it, and is worth trying!

I LOVE MY AMIKA IRON! I tried all these in NYC for a shoot and let me tell you, I loved it so much that I got one the next day! SO easy and I can curl my whole head in 10 mins! It's amazing. i get compliment after compliment on my hair everywhere I go (its really long, about 20"). These get super hot and your curls last forever, but u just gotta be careful not to burn yourself. Amazing amazing amazing.

this curler is def hot so be careful. it also doesnt have a stand for when u are no using it. otherwise, nice.
