I found out right before leaving for Europe that neither a simple outlet adapter nor a voltage converter were going to work for my Hai Elite Digistick flattening iron, so ordered this as it was the only high-end straightener I could find on short notice.
PROS:
- Dual voltage = perfect for traveling overseas
- Adjustable temperature control
- Indicator light
CONS:
- Snags hair
- No temperature readout
- Expensive
It got the job done during my trip, but I honestly would never recommend this straightener for anything else. It snagged/pulled my hair with every use, but not as horribly as a cheap drugstore brand I also tested out before leaving.

The ceramic styler worked great on my hair. It heated up fast, didn't snag my hair, and added shine and smoothness to my hair by sealing the cuticles.
