I don't understand what is so great about this shampoo. For the price I was expecting it to be amazing. It was okay, but I've gotten much better results with less money with Kerastase and Frederick Fekkai RX. The worst part was the smell was so strong that it was burning my eyes. The conditioner was okay, but also too expensive for average results.
Waste of money.

I've been using both the Alterna10 Shampoo and conditioner for about 2 weeks now. I have perfectly healthy, straight,soft ,shoulder length hair, and have been wanting to try this line for a while now. Trust me when I say AMAZING! I didn't think my hair could get any healthier and shinier. The best thing is that the shampoo cleanses my hair without stripping the natural oils, and the condtioner, a little goes a long way. When you first apply it to your hair it will seem like it's not enough to moisturize, but give it a couple minutes, and you'll REALLY feel the difference. When I go outside leaving my hair down, before i started using Alterna 10, my hair would absorb the smell of the enviroment such as smoke, the smell of the sun on your head,food in a restaurant, etc., and now my hair smells clean and fresh all day!
LOVE it so much, I'm on auto-delivery for the shampoo and condtioner!

My husband bought me the shampoo, conditioner and the hair masque of this product, because the other shampoo I was using was leaving my hair in complete matts. I tried it the first day and my hair was SO easy to get through, no tangles, no anything, blew it dry and the results are just incredible!!! Plus you only need a little bit to tackle a whole lot of hair. I love the smell, almost smells good enough to eat, Alterna has definitely went above and beyond with this product and it is well worth the money if you want shiny, easy to comb, wonderful smelling hair!! I STRONGLY recommend it!

I have long wavy hair that suffers from ponytail damage, and dry ends. I use this every 2nd or 3rd day, after using a good clarifying shampoo on my scalp first. It gives me soft healthy waves without weighing my hair down. Try to buy in larger size to save money.

This shampoo is in a class by itself.
I have tried every shampoo ever made - ask me about any of them and I can tell you about them.
I just bought the Alterna Ten shampoo at the beginning of this week and have been using it for a full week now - My hair is fine, has old hair color in it..isn't in too bad condition...but tangles easily - especially after shampooing...
With this shampoo - (which smells great by the way) - it makes my hair nice and full and shiny with no tangles but doesn't weigh my hair down...
I've been using it for a full week now with absolutely no build-up...
Also - I tend to have alot of scalp problems - from dandruff to pimples on my scalp, etc...
Haven't had either - my scalp doesn't itch at all...after starting to use this shampoo..
I know it's pricey - but it's worth it!!!
