I have hair that tends to be frizzy, and the fact that I color it doesn't help. I tried about 3 anti-frizz shampoos/conditioners before this one and this is the best one.
It is gentle, lathers well (especially since it doesn't have sodium lauryl sulfate- even though it does have close cousins to this) and cleans thoroughly. In fact, if you haven't washed your hair for a few days and have lots of product in it, it still does a great job.
I use this with the Bamboo Conditioner, so I can't really say how well one would work without out the other. However, used in concert, they do a great job (and, in terms of frizz, the Bamboo Conditioner is better than what I was using, Terax and Terax costs close to a mortgage payment!
Also, I flat iron my hair with a wet/dry tourmaline- iTech (it dries damp hair) flat iron and this helps A LOT with frizziness, if you first protect your hair from the heat. I use Fekkai Glossing Cream as a protectant and it is also great stuff.
I was already using the flat iron and the Fekkai Glossing Cream BEFORE the Bamboo shampoo/conditioner, so I can say for sure that the shampoo/conditioner are helping even more.

This shampoo smells great and cleaned my slighty-oily long wavy hair without stripping shine, even when used daily. The only complaint I have, (and I know I may be asking a lot because most great products that come in similar-sized packaging cost the same amount,) is the price; 8.5oz. for [$]. However, it didn't take long to learn that a little bit of this stuff goes a long way, even with my super long hair; it really lathers up nicely, so much so that you can practically use the shampoo as body wash as well.
