As an update to my earlier review, I've now used this product for over one year, and it is great during any season! I just love this powder. It's the best I've ever used for keeping shine away, plus it's light and doesn't settle into creases. I also like that it lets my skin show through- so if I don't want a "done" look, I don't have to have one; I can just layer it over my Alison Raffaele Face Forward Acne Response Primer, and I'm evened out, sun protected, ungreasy and ready to go! Another cool thing is that I have used this OVER a mineral powder foundation, and it sets it beautifully, without being a big heavy layer. (of course it's wonderful over a non-powder foundation as well) In short- I still say that Alison Raffaele Transparent Finish Powder is the best!!!

I love this powder, and have used it to keep shine at bay and set my makeup. It does not settle into lines, and it doesn't impart any color or sparkle. I have oily, aging, sensitive skin with a couple of dry patches; and I have used this powder throughout the fall/winter with no problems at all. I can't wait to see how this helps keep grease at bay in the summer. It is very lightweight, and I hardly know it's there. (except that I am NOT shiny like patent leather!) It has behaved like a dream all winter and sopped up oil amazingly, without ever being irritating or over drying.
However, when I received my order this time, the expiration date on the product was already out of date by two months. My drugstore.com customer service representative was wonderful; apologizing and offering to exchange the product or refund my money. But when they checked to see if they could exchange my product, they found that all of their stock was out of date. I AM SO BUMMED. I hope this is not discontinued! This is the greatest oil stopping powder of all time, even better than my old fave- Amazing Cosmetics powder, plus it doesn't add color. PLEASE KEEP CARRYING THIS POWDER! IT IS THE BEST! And it's great over sunscreen, as it's so sheer, it doesn't inhibit the SPF! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE- Drugstore.com, please get more of this!

I bought this powder with the foundation. I was disappointed when both items arrived. The powder does not come with an applicator. I haven't used the product yet and will write a review on how well it works when I do, but just wanted to say I am not impressed with the first impression. If you pay this much for a product, you expect to get an applicator with it.

This powder is fabulous!! I use an airbrush to put my makeup on so I didn't want anything with color...or anything that would take away from the airbrush makeup. This light translucent powder does the trick!

Love this product. I first discovered it when a make-up artist used it to blot the shine on my face for a music video shoot where I was dancing and sweating. It really helped to control the shine and give a nice even skin tone appearance on camera. Now I use the product while performing on stage whenever I start to get a little shiny. Provides a nice even finish over make-up. The product is similar to Mineral Veil by BareEscentuals, but I think it is better and a little more lightweight. Highly recommend,

For 12 years I have used Bare Minerals and I thought it was the be all end all. But this light coverage over the Bare Minerals Foundation adds a porcelain finish. I have had so many comments about how beautiful my skin look. I am 53 years old and people usually surmise I am about 40. Of course a bulk of it is genetic, but the transparent finish was the final piece. No shininess in the afternoon, no heavy feel, goes on evenly lasts all day.

I use this everyday and have loved this product. I also use the foundation and it is the first one in 30 years that I've been this excited about. I'm really watching packaging and ingredients now and these products are animal and ecologically friendly. This is the BEST face powder I've ever used! So many people have commented on how my skin look so smooth! Some even don't recognize that I am wearing a makeup when I used this product. This face powder doesn't cause any breakouts. It's super light. And tts color is really transparent that I don't see color change when I apply it. I highly recommend this to anyone!
