This is the best blotting paper I've ever tried. It doesn't feel icky in your hand or on your face like most blotting papers, doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin and is neatly packaged for carrying in my bag for routine touch-ups. It's also great for "mopping" up extra foundation when you apply too much initially - it smooths everything out and gives you nice, even coverage, although, as other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't remove your makeup (especially your foundation) once you have perfected your look. Personally I'd rather have a silky smooth, paper-thin product such as this one that requires me to use more than one sheet to get all areas of my super oily skin ( that way I know it's working) than one that is less effective and/or more expensive. I look forward to trying this line's other products.

After finishing off a pack of Shiseido papers which cost[$] for 100 I decided to try some which were less expensive. I'm extremely oily. Within 15 minutes of washing I'm shiny. By lunch time when I'm ready for a very quick touch up I have to use at least four of these to Shiseido's one! And, I never feel entirely oil free after using these. The Shiseido papers do have powder on them so if you don't like that then don't purchase them. However, after I use them I don't need to powder and even in hot/humid weather my face feels like I just washed and powdered for at least a little while. [...]

Works great! I will definitely purchase these again. They are a little more rectangular than other blotting tissues that I have used which fit easier on my forehead and nose.

Comments about Alison Raffaele Oil Blotting Tissues, 100 ea:
These blotting papers are awesome for my very oily skin. It takes two to de-slick my face. They leave no residue behind and give a matte appearance. They are a great addition to my arsenal against my oily skin!

Comments about Alison Raffaele Oil Blotting Tissues, 100 ea:
I bought this on a whim and I'm glad I did! I usually just use a regular tissue to blot the oil on my face but these work much better, they can take ALL the shine away. Also, I haven't had trouble with tearing like I read in other reviews.

Comments about Alison Raffaele Oil Blotting Tissues, 100 ea:
It is great because it lifts away the oil and not the makeup.
Comments about Alison Raffaele Oil Blotting Tissues, 100 ea:
OK, it was really difficult for me to adjust to these. I have been using the Shiseido ones for years. After having used Alison Raffaele's for the first time, I almost sat down and wrote a 1-star review! But now I think they're wonderful. Yes, they are very, very delicate and they do tear easily especially when you're used to handling something a bit tougher. At first I thought they were just disintegrating upon contact with my extremely oily skin. But I got used to them. The truth is that they sop up oil really well, don't add unwanted powder, and they're bargain priced. I always used to use two of Shiseido's; I also find that I can get the job done with two of Alison's papers. Will definitely, unhesitatingly repurchase. The one point off is just because I don't know if they really need to be as fragile as a small butterfly's wings.
Comments about Alison Raffaele Oil Blotting Tissues, 100 ea:
I tried these and they did the job. They are very thin and do not contain powder. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes the sheets tore or I had to use more than 1. I think the price is reasonable, I would consider buying them again.
